Background

Jeff began working in the pest control industry in 1975 and has been on a mission ever since.  Frustrated by conventional methods of harvesting and excessive use of chemicals, he created a comprehensive program that not only addresses the pests, but also the conditions of the site that lead to the problem.  His “12 Key Factors” program is currently in use by professional pest control operators and clients around the world.  Jeff continues to drive change in the pest control industry, always with the purpose of protecting the brand and reputation of the client.

A leading consultant and pest control expert, Jeff is a popular and entertaining speaker at the annual Purdue University Pest Management conference.  He also has taught recertification classes at the Interstate Pest Management Conference (Baltimore, Maryland), The Georgia Food Protection Alliance (Atlanta), Florida Pest Management Association, South East Pest Management Conference, and The Food Marketing Institute.  His articles have appeared in PCT magazine, PMP and The Journal of Economic Entomology.   He appears in several training videos and has been the voice over talent as well. 

His expertise in a wide range of areas-- restorative cleaning, commercial/retail building issues, rodents, bird and wildlife control, building a customer base—and his sense of humor earns him a reputation for training meetings that are fun and effective.  Jeff gives easy and practical ideas that employees and managers can put immediately into practice.   His 37 years of traveling throughout the US and SE Asia gives him a unique perspective and extraordinary examples which he readily shares with his audience.  His active relationships with professionals at the USDA and numerous others in the field keep his recommendations current and dynamic.

Jeff understands the need to form active partnerships between the client, pest management professional and related vendor teams to serve the needs of the brand and its integrity.  He also understands the demands and expectations of government agencies and works to create a program that not only meets the needs and protects the brand of the client but assures the health, safety and property of the public as well.
